NIRPC is now underway developing an update of our highly-successful 2008 Northwest Indiana Bike Map. We have contracted with the Active Transportation Alliance (ATA) from Chicago to put together the update, which will now involve BLUEWAYS, or water trail access points as well. In order to successfully map out the streets in our region, NIPRC is asking for VOLUNTEERS to ride these streets, and report back on their conditions. Staff from ATA WILL TRAIN YOU, and those sessions will take place on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26th (Lake County) and SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29th (Porter/LaPorte Counties). Time and locations to be determined.
