NorthShore Health Centers Hosts 3rd Annual Easter Eggstravaganza

NS-Eggstravaganza 1The NorthShore Health Centers is hosting an “Easter Eggstravaganza” event for the community on Saturday, March 19 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event will include an Easter egg hunt with over 10,000 eggs and a chance to take pictures with special characters including the Easter Bunny.

Prior to the egg hunt starting at 3pm, kids ages 1-12 can enjoy bouncy houses, inflatable rock climbing wall, t-ball game, balloon creations, face painting and more! NorthShore will be raffling off 300 tickets to RailCats baseball games, 500 free kids meals and over 100 Easter baskets. This year, the hunt is being held at the Boys & Girls Club at 5895 Evergreen Ave. in Portage. While the family fun will take place inside, the Easter Egg Hunt will be held outside so make sure your kids are dress appropriately for the weather. Activity sponsors include Geminus Head Start, Accessibilities Inc., Tobacco Education and Prevention, Relay for Life, Aspire Charter School and MHS. Raffle sponsors include: Texas Roadhouse, Golden Corral and RailCats. Volunteer Support Sponsor include: Clancy’s & Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County.

The Easter Eggstravaganza is another way NorthShore can provide families in the community with a safe, fun place to bring their children and enjoy themselves but also remind them about the importance of their health and scheduling their preventative medical appointments.

Our medical centers accept most major insurance plans, but we also offer an affordable self-pay option for anyone who is uninsured.
