During a 10 week Saturday program January thru March 2013, NWI United FC provides a Futsal League for players just to play without the interruption of instruction. It provides a break to the players from the season that has just concluded and allows a rest from the demands of training.
The NWI United FC Futsal league is open to all interested soccer players - you do not need to be a member of NWI United FC to participate as a team or individual player.
NWI United FC players will grouped by age and gender - teams of 6 to 10 players will be selected by their NWI United Team Coach to create a competitive balance between challenging the players and just having fun playing the game vs. their peers.
This program provides a 4 vs 4 – 3 field players and a goalkeeper playing environment that is supervised by our DOC and staff to ensure safety as well as to provide light instruction and to rotate players in and out during play. Coaches are there to facilitate a learning enviornment!
The Futsal League mirrors the clubs Street Soccer Program in philosophy helping create an environment that fosters creativity in a competitive setting.
We welcome players or teams from outside of United to participate in our Futsal League.
Schedule: Futsal League starts January 5 through March 9 at Camelot Sports Plex, 5201 U.S. 6 Portage, IN
Fee: $250 per team
