It’s mid-September and that means that Oak Partners Inc. and their clients and guests took to the links at Youche Country Club in Crown Point for the 13th Annual Oak Partners Golf Outing. Oak Partners’ advisors, staff, clients and guests were treated to clear skies for the annual event and the growing popularity of the event meant that 2017’s outing was the most well attended yet.
“We have 127 golfers out today which is our biggest group yet,” said Oak Partners Director of Client Experience, Crystal Dehaven. “This is always an exciting and fun event for us and to see so many of our clients and their guests out to celebrate with us is just amazing!”
Oak Partners’ Annual Golf Outing is just one of the many ways in which the company works, outside of the normal, everyday office setting, to interact with their clients. Oak Partners continuously strives to say, ‘thank you’ to their clients for their continued business, and this is just one of the ways in which the company accomplishes that goal.
“We’ve got 127 golfers out today and, as always, this is another great opportunity to see everyone,” said Marc Ruiz, Partner at Oak Partners. “This outing is all about bringing everyone together to just have a great time. It gives us a chance to build relationships with our clients and also potential clients, who might be enjoying the event for the first time.”
The annual Oak Partners Golf Outing includes 18 holes of golf, raffles and lunch afterward at the beautiful Youche Country Club in Crown Point, which was in top shape for the event.
“This is the ‘Lucky number 13’ golf outing for us here at Oak Partners and it’s been just a gorgeous day,” said Mike Barancyk, a Wealth Advisor and Partner at the company. “We’ve had fantastic weather, fantastic clients, and guests out for this year’s event. We’re so appreciative to have such wonderful people out to join us today on the golf course.”
Oak Partners’ Annual Golf Outing serves as a great way for the company to spend a day getting to know their clients and, hopefully, meet new people.
“This is how we grow,” added Barancyk. “Close to 70% of our new clients every year come in as friends or guests of existing clients. Events like these help to showcase what we’re all about, and that’s providing great client services as well as having fun while we work hard to build relationships.”
Throughout the year, Oak Partners holds a broad range of events from educational seminars and speaking engagements, to golf outings, garden walks and seasonal celebrations.
“We think this is an important way to give back to our clients by hosting events such as these, as well as educational events where we’ll bring in economists and discuss things like market activities. We try to have a great balance of the type of events that we host. Coming up next we have our Oaktoberfest where we’ll have over 500 clients and guests come to our office as an open house to see and meet us, and get an good sense of who we are at Oak Partners,” Barancyk said.
