For the past 15 years, Opportunity Enterprises (OE) has been providing commercial cleaning services to businesses throughout Northwest Indiana. Beginning this month, the organization’s successful janitorial branch will be even stronger.
OE announced on Oct. 1 that it has become a franchisee of ServiceMaster, a national company that has been in the cleaning business for more than 50 years. The move will help OE continue to meet its high standards in the janitorial industry by providing the best staffing, training, equipment and products available.
OE Chief Financial Officer Randy Hurst said this was a logical move in continuing to meet the goals of growth and development for the organization.
“We are excited to join the ServiceMaster brand as a franchisee,” he said. “We are now better equipped for exponential growth in service quality and coverage in Porter, Lake, and LaPorte counties.”
ServiceMaster by OE Manager Judy Woodrick added that the decision to franchise was made to provide the best possible services to current customers while continuing to expand the clientele in Northwest Indiana.
“Our customer base has come to depend on us as the most reliable and efficient cleaning service in the area,” she said. “ServiceMaster will help us continue to build on that reputation. The potential for growth is very exciting.”
Hurst added that ServiceMaster would provide the opportunity for clients at OE to become full employees with standard wages and benefits. This exemplifies OE’s mission of creating sustainable life choices and opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
