On any given morning of the work week, Porter County residents are sure to catch a glimpse of an OE Express van. Comprised of a fleet of 18 vehicles, OE Express provides an average of 3,700 round-trip rides each month in Porter County and portions of Lake and LaPorte counties. These vans, bearing the OE logo, transport individuals to and from medical appointments, social outings, errands, and work engagements. Most importantly, OE Express transportation services are available to any member of the community.
Community members can make transportation reservations 24-hours in advance by calling the OE Express dispatch office at 219.464.9621 ext. 227. One-way fares are $7.50 within Porter County and $10 outside of Porter County. OE Express can bill Medicaid for qualifying trips. For additional information, please visit www.oppent.org.
