Valparaiso Police Officers will be conducting a fund raiser for the department’s Gang Resistant Education and Training (G.R.E.A.T.) Program. Currently the G.R.E.A.T. Program is taught to all seventh graders in the Valparaiso School District. The GREAT program and Valparaiso Police are celebrating 21 years of presenting this program to the Valparaiso Community Schools.
Police Chief Michael Brickner and other officers will be working for tips at Kelsey’s Steak House in Valparaiso on Thursday March 20th from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Officers will assist waiters and servers with all proceeds raised benefiting the G.R.E.A.T. Program.
