Valparaiso Police Officers Wait Tables to Raise Money

Valparaiso Police Officers will be conducting a fund raiser for the department’s Gang Resistant Education and Training (G.R.E.A.T.) Program. Currently the G.R.E.A.T. Program is taught to all seventh graders in the Valparaiso School System. This program is designed to teach students the dangers of gang activities and help re-enforce positive life skills.

Officers will be working for tips at Kelsey’s Steak House in Valparaiso on Thursday February 17th from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Officers will assist waiters and servers with all the proceeds raised benefiting the G.R.E.A.T. Program.

The Valparaiso Police Department would like to thank Kelsey’s Steak House for allowing the fund raiser to take place at their establishment.
