One day each year, the HealthLinc dental team dedicates their time and services to celebrate Give Kids a Smile, a national initiative that helps low-income children receive dental care.
This year, HealthLinc celebrates Give Kids a Smile on Monday, February 17 at its Valparaiso clinic located at 1001 North Sturdy Road from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Families with uninsured and underinsured children age 18 and younger are encourage to schedule an appointment for no-cost oral health care. Appointments are limited, and individuals are encouraged to call 1-888-580-1060 as soon as possible.
HealthLinc's Dental Services
HealthLinc provides dental care to any one with or without insurance, regardless of their ability to pay. All individuals are encouraged to call HealthLinc to schedule services throughout the year. Expanded hours and transportation assistance or referrals are available.
About Give Kids A Smile
Each year, approximately 450,000 children benefit from more than 1500 events associated with Give Kids A Smile. More than 40,000 volunteer dentists and their team members provide screenings, treatments and education to underserved children throughout the United States. The American Dental Association began Give Kids A Smile in 2003 as a way for dentists to join with others in the community to provide dental services to underserved children.
