Opening Reception for Exhibit Showcasing Over 30 Artists

The Area Artists Association of Lubeznik Center for the Arts joins the Southern Shores Art Association in an exhibit showcasing the work of over 30 artists. The work spans painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, and sculpture, and shows the great variety and talent of artists in the region. The opening reception, from 5-7 pm on Friday, August 6, is free and open to the public.

On the shores of Lake Michigan, The Southern Shore Art Association ( is an inspiring art organization that welcomes all artists in the Northwest Indiana and Michiana areas. With approximately fifty members and growing, the SSAA helps promote all artists by offering member and non-member shows, classes, scheduled monthly critiques and a wonderful sense of community. The SSAA also invites other art organizations or individual artists to exhibit and promote their art.

The Area Artists Association of Lubeznik Center for the Arts ( is a juried organization with a mission to recognize and encourage active regional artists by providing exhibit opportunities and a support group for juried-member artists to explore topics of mutual interest at regular monthly meetings.
