It was a banner week for Opportunity Enterprises. On Wednesday, OE was privileged to host Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch and employees of INARF for a tour. Lt. Gov. Crouch and the task force met clients working in OE’s Outsource Solutions division, participating in the curriculum-based day program TREND, and experiencing Art Enrichment and Assistive Technology.
Ruben, an elected Self Advocate representing the needs of individuals with disabilities as clients of OE made sure to share with the Lt. Governor that people with disabilities deserve a voice in decisions being made in policies that affect them. Richie shared a piece of art he was working on and showed off his fun artistic socks.
Following the tour, Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch had this to say about OE, “Witnessing how they assist and help those involved in the organization first hand was truly astounding.” OE is grateful for the opportunity to showcase our amazing clients to the Lieutenant Governor and the state task force.
