Overhead Door of NWI Celebrates Their Super Technicians

OverheadDoor-TechDinner-1Overhead Door Company of Northwest Indiana held a dinner at Kelsey’s Steakhouse in Valparaiso on Saturday evening to show appreciation to the company’s technicians.

The night was filled with good food and drinks, and great conversation. The employees of Overhead Door were given the opportunity to speak about their individual experiences at the company and thoughts on how they perceive their work life.

Joe Gerber, a technician for the company said, “I think the dinner was awesome. It’s great to go out together and see everyone I work with outside of work. It really helps us to bond. I appreciate this dinner and am glad to see we are growing and all we can do now is continue to grow even more with encouragement like this.”

The night came to a close as President of Overhead Door of NWI, Jim Cameron, and General Manager, Tom Cameron, congratulated and thanked the team for their dedication to serving customers, the company, and community.

Supertech Day is what we are celebrating tonight, recognizing and providing well-earned gratitude for the professional job per-formance and outstanding customer service our field technicians provide all of our customers every day of the year. The team chemistry is unmatched anywhere; this is a fantastic group of door men and I couldn't be prouder of them!"

The company is a member of the IDA (International Door Association) which is recognizing June 26, 2015 as International SuperTech Day, a special day commemorating door systems technicians. The focus is part of an international campaign to recognize and honor professionals in the field. Door companies are encouraged to treat door technicians to some form of activity that will serve as a reminder that they are the key to maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction in all aspects of the trade.
