Porter County Aging & Community Services will host a workshop on “How to Write an Effective Resume” 
with presenter, Tom Rayshich, Job Placement Specialist for Workone, on Monday, April 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the United Way of Porter County office (951 Eastport Centre Drive, Valparaiso). Tom Rayshich will explain the steps you need to take to create an effective resume. PCACS will also host a presentation on “How to Have a Successful Job Interview” with Tom Rayshich on Monday, May 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the United Way of Porter County office. Participants will learn the steps they need to take to prepare for and have a successful job interview. Tom Rayshich will also outline the resources for obtaining information on-line and options within the community for receiving employment assistance. These free programs are possible through funding from NWICA (Northwest Indiana Community Action).
