PCCTC Students to Broadcast VHS Football Semi-State Game Live on ValpoLife.com!

The Porter County Career Center’s Video and Media Productions students will be working down at Fishers High School on Friday to broadcast the VHS Viking Football’s semi-state matchup live on ValpoLife.com!

The broadcast will again be featuring Portage High School student Mike Zmija on play-by-play with fellow student Gabe Myers doing color commentary. The one-camera production will begin around 6:50PM CST for the 7:00PM kickoff.

Many of the technical issues from the last game’s broadcast should be fixed, thanks in large part to Cartronix here in Valpo and their new wireless AT&T USBConnect drive the tech-company loaned the PCCTC.

Viewers are encouraged to send in comments and “shout-outs” by emailing PorterCoCareerCenter@gmail.com or texting 219.595.8671, and the students will try to read comments and shout-outs on air during the broadcast.

The PCCTC appreciates your patience in advance with any issues that may arise, as the students are providing a free service, and one that was never meant to replace anyone attending the game in person. That said, as mentioned above, many of the technical issues should be fixed with the help of Cartronix.
