Please join us for a very special, one of a kind event. The Southern Shore Art Association is excited to display the unique talents of extraordinary young adult art students with special needs.
The SSAA was awarded a generous grant from the Michigan City Enrichment Corporation which enabled the budding artists to explore many different mediums and techniques, while being taught by working artist/members of the SSAA. A six-week art program resulted in this exhibit of landscapes, self-portraits, anime, still life and abstract art.
During this instructional program the students gained confidence in their artistic talents, became friends and are very excited to showcase their works of art. Don't miss this exciting exhibit of eclectic art from talented young artists.
Join the young artists on Friday, January 6 during the free Opening Reception at the Southern Shore Art Association Gallery from 5 – 8 pm, during the monthly "First Friday" celebration in Michigan City’s historic Uptown Arts District.
Refreshments and appetizers will be served.
