PNC Appoints Paul McGuinness as Vice Chancellor

Paul_McGuinnessThe Purdue University Board of Trustees has ratified the appointment of Paul M. McGuinness as the Purdue University North Central vice chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Services.

Paul McGuinness brings to this position a wide variety of experience in enrollment management and student services and is familiar with Purdue University. He was most recently employed at Purdue University Calumet, where he spearheaded the assessment and accreditation efforts with the Higher Learning Commission.

"Paul joins Purdue North Central at an exciting time. Our student enrollment has been steadily growing and we will soon reach the milestone of having 5,000 students at PNC. We have placed a special emphasis on programs and initiatives that support the recruitment, enrollment and retention of students, and we look to Paul to lead these efforts," said PNC Chancellor Dr. James B. Dworkin.

As vice chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Services, McGuinness will provide strategic university-wide leadership and administrative oversight for all activities related to student enrollment, retention and related student services. The vice chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Services is responsible for the areas of Admissions, Financial Aid, Library Services, Registrar, Academic Advising & Retention and the assistant vice chancellor of Student Services and Dean of Students.
