PNC Beginner and Intermediate Microsoft Word 2013 Workshop

PNCThe Purdue University North Central Office of Graduate and Extended Learning and Department of Computer and Information Technology will offer a non-credit workshop series for beginner and intermediate users of Microsoft Office’s Word 2013 software.

The workshop will meet on Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., beginning on Oct. 29 through Nov. 19. Registration fee is $159 and includes all books and materials. Special rates are available for PNC students, alumni and employees. The deadline to register is Oct. 15 at 4 p.m.

This program will be taught by an instructor with 25 years of teaching experience as well as executive management experience in information technology and an office environment. The workshop will introduce beginner and intermediate concepts and techniques for using the software in personal and business applications.

Participants will learn to create and format documents, brochures, flyers, tables and charts. They will also learn how to use mass mailing features, as well as a few more advanced topics related to the software.
