PNC Continuing Education Offers Chinese Language Course

The Purdue University North Central Office of Continuing Education is offering a non-credit Chinese language class.

"Beginning Chinese" will teach students simplified Mandarin Chinese and the Pinyin system. This class will work on conversational skills and will learn to write Chinese with calligraphy pens. In addition, the class will spend one session in a computer lab where students will learn Chinese characters and compose a letter using their new skills. Chinese culture will also be discussed.

This course will be offered at the PNC Westville campus on Wednesdays, Sept. 30 to Nov. 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. The course fee is $199 and an additional book fee is $29.
