PNC Homecoming Event and Fireworks Show

FireworksPurdue University North Central will host a Homecoming Event with a fireworks show on Friday, Sept. 13, at 6 p.m. on the PNC Westville campus. This event has been created to start a tradition of welcoming students back to campus each fall and allowing the university's alumni, students as well as community members to engage in an event that brings a sense of spirit and community to the PNC campus.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with food available for purchase from participating vendors and live and local bands performing until 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive before 6 p.m. to find suitable parking. The festivities will culminate with the fireworks beginning after dark. This event is free and open to the public with the exception of any food purchased from participating vendors.

The electrifying fireworks show presented by BaddaBoom Fireworks will be set to music and is appropriate for all ages. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, coolers and blankets for the event. Purdue North Central is a smoke-free and alcohol-free campus.

In case of rain or questionable weather, activities will be held Saturday, Sept. 14. Information will be posted by 10 a.m. on the PNC website at www.pnc.edu regarding any cancellations.
