PNC Odyssey Reception for Exhibiting Photographers

The Purdue University North Central 2009-10 Odyssey Arts and Cultural Events Series celebrates its "Year of the Photographer" exhibits with a reception for 12 exhibiting photographers.rich-manalis This program will be April 20 at 6 p.m. in PNC Library-Student-Faculty Building, Assembly Hall, Room 02. The reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

The event will feature a PowerPoint presentation and remarks beginning with Mel Theobald whose exhibit, "A Mythical Reality," is hung in Assembly Hall. The program will continue with remarks from 11 members of the Artists Association of the Lubeznik Center for the Arts and their show "Photographs by Regional Artists."

Those artists are: Carol Block, Tom Brand, Kathy Gleser, Susan Henshaw, George Kassal, Deborah Landry, Rich Manalis, Brett Maniscalco, Clinton Rigg, Edwin Shelton and Gwynne Winsberg.

Photographer Rich Manalis will discuss his exhibit, "Chicago Photographs."

Reception guests will have the opportunity to tour all three exhibits.

The public may view the shows through May 15.
