PNC Offers Workshops for Beginner and Intermediate Users of Microsoft Excel 2013

PNCThe Purdue University North Central Office of Graduate and Extended Learning and Department of Computer and Information Technology will offer a non-credit workshop series for beginner and intermediate users of Microsoft Office's Excel 2013 software. This program, which will be taught by an instructor with 11 years of experience at the University, as well as 20 years of management experience in an office environment, will introduce basic concepts and techniques for using the software in personal and business applications.

Participants will learn about settings and properties of workbooks and worksheets, cell formatting and data entry, merging and highlighting cells, basic formulas and charts, as well as about a plethora of tools, functions and software abilities. Participants will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., beginning on June 10th and ending on June 19th. The registration fee for community members is $160.00 and includes all books and materials. Special rates are available for PNC students, alumni and employees. The deadline to register is Wednesday, May 21st at 4:00 p.m.
