PNCWA Travels to see “The Addams Family” Premiere

The Purdue North Central Women's Association (PNCWA) will host a bus trip to Chicago on Saturday,  Nov. 21, to see the world premiere of "The Addams Family" at the Oriental Theatre, part of the Broadway in Chicago series.

The trip is open to the public. The cost for the entire day, which includes a continental breakfast, deluxe bus transportation and theatre ticket, is $99.  Two-time Tony Award® winners Nathan Lane (as Gomez) and Bebe Neuwirth (as Morticia) star in this show created by Jersey Boys authors Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice.  The play opens one week prior to this trip.

The show presents an Addams Family portrait that has never been seen before. "Gomez, all mad impetuosity, Morticia, equal parts fire and ice, Fester, restless and romantic, Pugsley, for whom immediate gratification can't come soon enough and Wednesday, 18 years old and finally feeling what it means to be a woman. A family that's quite shockingly, and endearingly, just like yours," notes the show's press packet.

The trip begins with a continental breakfast at PNC prior to the 8 a.m. departure. The first stop is at the newest Trader Joe's on Ontario Street for gourmet food and wine shopping.  Guests will then be dropped off in the Loop near the theatre for shopping and lunch on their own prior to the 2 p.m. performance. Guests will return to PNC by approximately 6 p.m.

For additional information or to make reservations, contact Liz Bernel at PNC at 462-4197, ext. 5719.  Payment is due at the time of the reservation.
