PNW Pride Continue Home Slate With Pair of Conference Matches

PNW-Pride-Continue-Home-Slate-With-Pair-of-Conference-Matches The Purdue University Northwest (1-12, 0-5 GLIAC) volleyball team will play host to a pair of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foes this weekend. The Pride will take on Ashland University (12-2, 5-0 GLIAC) Friday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. inside the Hammond campus Fitness and Recreation Center. The following afternoon they will welcome in Wayne State (8-5, 3-2 GLIAC) to the H.D. Kesling Gymnasium on the Westville campus.

LAST TIME OUT PNW was defeated in straight sets by the Davenport Panthers (25-19, 25-14, 25-16) on the road this past Saturday. Jenna Pasko (Lansing, Ill./T.F. South) paced the Pride with nine kills, while junior Eudora Negri (Munster, Ind./Munster) tallied 28 assists. Morgan Spencer (Oswego, Ill./Aurora Central Catholic) is currently leading the GLIAC in service aces per set with a 0.61 average.
