Pond Society Invites Non-Members to May Meeting

Illiana-Garden-Pond-SocietyThe Illiana Garden Pond Society invites anyone interested in ponds and gardening to attend its next meeting scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at the St. John Library, 9450 Wicker Ave.

Non-members will have the opportunity to learn more about ponds and fish from featured speakers Bernie Orelup and Keith VanderWoude. New attendees also will get the chance to learn more about the society and membership. Light refreshments will be served.

IGPS meetings are usually for members only.

The Illiana Garden Pond Society is a not for profit organization dedicated to pond and water garden education and care. The group was founded in 1996 and is made up of people who live in northern Illinois and northern Indiana who are interested in the creation and caring for ponds and their accompanying water gardens.
