Porter County Career and Technical Education Open Houses on January 22, 2015

PCCTC-Update-10-31-14High school students may choose from more than 30 half-day programs at the Porter County Career and Technical Center, 1005 N. Franklin St., Valparaiso, and other sites.

Current sophomores and juniors might look at everything from Early Childhood Education to Graphic Imaging Technology to Cisco Networking. Most students will have a chance to earn dual college credits while enrolled in a career and technical class.

The next open houses will take place on Thursday, Jan. 22. Most programs will welcome current high school sophomores and juniors from 8 to 9 a.m. Parents are welcome, too.

Schools served by the career and technical programs are Boone Grove, Chesterton, Hebron, Hobart, Kouts, Morgan Township, Portage, Valparaiso, Washington Township and Wheeler High Schools.
