Porter County Community Foundation Awards Grant to Food Bank of NW Indiana

PCCF-Food-Bank-NWIThe Porter County Community Foundation recently presented a grant to Food Bank of Northwest Indiana to help the nonprofit organization purchase additional computers and software. The new equipment will enable food pantries to analyze food pantry usage, process clients more efficiently and increase food distribution.

The Porter County Community Foundation awards a number of community grants each year to help local nonprofit organizations provide a variety of valuable programs and services. In 2011, the Foundation awarded over $1.9 million in scholarships and grants.
