Fund Your Park!
Now through October 23rd, we encourage community members to join us in raising funds for our “Fund Your Park” campaign! All money donated throughout this 45 day campaign will go towards building the Native American Play Area of the Natural Playground at Sunset Hill Farm! This will be an accessible play area focusing on natural materials and concepts to provide a safe, educational and most importantly FUN facility for kids to enjoy! To contribute or learn more about the project, please visit fundyourpark.org and select our project on the home page. All contributions make a difference in getting us to our $25,000 goal!
Kids and Canvas at Hawthorn Park
Sunday, September 21, 2-5pm, Hawthorne Park, Porter, IN
Come to Hawthorne Park in Porter to create your own “Bug Art” project with our instructor Shirley Massey.
Kids ages 5-9 paint from 2-3pm. Cost is $8.
Kids ages 10 and up paint their creation from 3:30-5pm. Cost is $10.

Fall Fun Day
Sunday, October 12, 1-4pm, Sunset Hill Farm, $10/child (parents are free)
Bring your kids out for some fall fun! Participants will go for a hike with the Park Naturalist, make some fabulous fall crafts, and take a wagon ride through the park. The program is limited to the first 25 kids who register!
Evening Escapades

Escape the weekday grind by coming out to enjoy a fun filled evening with our Park Naturalist. She will lead families in activities to help them explore and discover all that Sunset Hill Farm has to offer.
Senior Hike-“The Days of Hunters”

Long before Indiana was settled or even a state people came here for what it had to offer. Come for a hike as we discuss what brought people to Indiana and why they stayed. You can see examples fo the same features today at Sunset Hill Farm.
Yoga at the Park
Saturdays, September 13-November 1, 8:30-9:30am, Sunset Hill Farm, $45/Series or $7/class
Join our certified instructor for Hatha yoga class with an optional vinyasa flow sequence. The class will stimulate the musculature through breath and movement and is the perfect way to start the day by preparing both body and mind. All levels welcome. Register by calling 219-734-0203.
Boot Camp at Sunset Hill
