Porter County Walk for Recovery

The Porter County Walk for Recovery is an annual walk held to raise funds and build awareness for these area organizations: walk-for-recovery

  • Alice's Halfway House - A halfway house for women recovering from alcohol and drug abuse
  • Moraine House - A 501(c)3 post-treatment recovery home for men over the age of 18
  • Respite House - A halfway house for men seeking recovery through a 12-step recovery program

The walk will be held on Saturday, April 24, at Rogers Lakewood Park. Registration will be held from 8:00 to 8:30 am, followed by greetings from dignitaries. The walk will begin at 9 and go until 10:30, closed with an awards ceremony and continental breakfast.
