Porter Health System recently donated more than $3,500 from its 8th Annual Sleighbell 5K Run/Walk to local food pantries including Hilltop Food Pantry, Portage Township Food Pantry and Westchester Food Pantry.

More than 200 area runners and walkers participated in the December event which was held at Westchester Intermediate School and sponsored by Porter’s Cardiac & Vascular Institute and Northwest Indiana Cardiovascular Physicians.
