Porter Health System’s Healthy Woman Program Presents “Osteoporosis: Not for Women Only”

To better understand bone density loss in men, Porter health system’s Healthy Woman Program will present an educational seminar entitled, “Osteoporosis: Not for Women Only,” by Natalie Eddy, Nurse Practitioner with Westchester Medical Group. The program will offer free bone density screening from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, with a presentation following at 6:30 pm, on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the Portage YMCA, 3100 Willowcreek Road, Portage.

During the presentation, Eddy will address osteoporosis in men and the importance of bone density screening.

Porter’s Healthy Woman program is a free community resource designed to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed healthcare and well-being decisions for themselves and their loved ones. Program benefits for members include monthly health and lifestyle presentations, health resources and communications.
