Porter Regional Hospital Offers Concierge Services to Patients and Guests

Front-Desk-ConciergesPorter Regional Hospital is proud to offer our patients and guests Concierge Services. Porter's Concierge Services are available seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and can be reached by phone at 219-983-8900 or via email at concierge@porterhealth.com.

The Concierge is located at the front reception desk in the hospital’s main lobby and will be the first to greet and welcome our patients and guests into our new facility.

The concierge is available to provide our patients and visitors with the following:

  • Information regarding Porter Regional Hospital and its adjacent Medical Plaza
  • Lodging options, rates and reservations
  • Transportation options, rates and reservations (shuttles, limousines, car rental, taxi, train schedule)
  • Restaurant listings, menus and reservations
  • Information on local attractions including area parks, campgrounds, museums, shows, galleries, events, movie times and ticket information
  • Gift and flower delivery services to patient rooms
  • Arrangements for pet care, automobile services (oil change/flat tire repair/locksmith services), haircuts, etc. (Additional assistance with any scheduling needs.)
  • Web searches for flights, weather, business information, etc.
  • Location information (area maps, directions, etc.) for:
    • Local businesses
    • Nearby shopping
    • Banks
    • Post offices
    • Pharmacies
    • Local religious institutions
    • Train stations


Additional complementary services include:

  • Public notary services
  • Courtesy phone for local calls
  • Print, fax, and copy services
  • Drop-off of shipping/postal to carrier
