Porter-Starke Services Receives 3-Year Accreditation from CARF International

Porter-Starke Services was recently awarded three-year accreditation for its behavioral health services and opioid treatment program by CARF International, an independent, nonprofit organization that surveys health and human service providers for high-quality standards.

The survey was conducted virtually in July and examined multiple facets of Porter-Starke Services operations. The CARF team identified many positive strengths at Porter-Starke Services, including that “the leadership and staff members of the organization are collaborative, partnering with other human service organizations in the community in order to ensure that a full continuum of services is available to meet the needs of persons served.”

Porter-Starke Services President/CEO Matt Burden congratulated the entire Porter-Starke Services staff and Board of Directors on the accomplishment.

“Our staff consistently meet the highest standards for client care, and they do so with dedication and compassion,” said Burden.  “Receiving this accreditation is truly a validation of all those efforts.”

A three-year accreditation is the maximum term an organization can be awarded. A new survey will be conducted prior to the current awards expiration on June 30, 2023. This accreditation demonstrates that the organization’s programs and services are of the highest quality and house accountability measures.
