Porterfield Family Chiropractic is officially in business! Dr. Ryan Porterfield cut the ribbon to the new facility on Friday, April 25th. Friends and family gathered to witness the ceremony.
The Grand opening included raffle and door prizes, a free massage, and delicious food provided by the Hungry Inc food truck. The raffled off items included a personalized gift bag made from Wrap It Up and Valpo Velvet, Edible Arrangements, Chicago Street Theater and massage gift cards.
As one entered the facility, they were greeted by the ‘bubble wall’. The wall consists of several bubble stickers with insightful quotes and witty sayings. The facility’s open layout makes it a patient friendly and comfortable place for any medical concerns.
Porterfield stated, “When patients are in therapy, they can always look over at the wall if they need some inspiration. It gives them something that makes them keep on going!”
Dr. Porterfield attended Logan University in St. Louis and has been practicing in the area for the past 6 years. Things have been going well for Porterfield, so he decided to embark on his own endeavor. When talking to Porterfield, his enthusiasm about the new firm was evident.
“This is a really exciting moment for me! I’m happy to see all of the long hours and hard work pay off!” Porterfield said. “We have a lot of great features to this event and I hope that everyone has a good time!”
Guests were able to sign a poster during the open house, congratulating the doctor on the grand opening.
