Project Club Teaches Heritage Skills

Crocheting-classMarch class teaches crocheting

Porter County Parks and Recreation has teamed up with Purdue Extension-Porter County to offer adult classes that focus on a different heritage skill each month. These informative and fun classes take place on the fourth week of each month on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon.

The first course focused on acrylic painting and we received great feedback from the participants. The class for March will teach crocheting and is scheduled for March 23 and 25.

Cost for the class is $10. For more information, or to register, contact Beth Shubair at the Porter County Purdue Extension Office at 219-465-3555. When registering, please specify any accommodations required for participants with special needs.
