Five players scored in double-digits and the No. 15 Purdue University Calumet women’s basketball team used a blistering first half to top visiting Robert Morris Illinois, 83-63, in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play Thursday night.

Senior Jada Buggs (Elkhart, Ind./Elkhart Memorial) led the way, scoring 19 points and adding eight rebounds for the Peregrines, who have won four straight. Katie Wampler (Scottsburg, Ind./Scottsburg) added 14 points, Cassidy Deno (Otterbein, Ind./Benton Central) had 12 points and 12 rebounds, and Darien Thompson (Anderson, Ind./Anderson) and Dariyan Morris (Merrillville, Ind./Merrillville) each had 10 points in the win.

Men's Basketball Falls To No.16 Robert Morris Illinois Thursday Night 
The Purdue University Calumet men’s basketball team fell to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent No.16 Robert Morris Illinois, 102-84, Thursday night.

The Peregrines (5-8, 1-6 CCAC) were led by a strong performance from the Black and Gold’s bench, who cut down a large lead by the Eagles in the final ten minutes of the second half.
