Eight Purdue University Calumet faculty members have been granted promotions by the Purdue University Board of Trustees.
The promotions are effective with the start of the 2015-16 academic year.
John C. Creighton (Biological Sciences) and Xiaoli Yang (Electrical and Computer Engineering), both of Munster, were promoted to full professor.
Additionally, the following were promoted to associate professor: Renee M. Conroy of Homewood, Ill. (Philosophy), Claudia Costiuc Mich of Munster (Marketing), Rachel C. Smith of Frankfort, Ill. (Business/Leadership), Beth A. Vottero of Valparaiso (Nursing), Shuhui Yang of Munster (Computer Science) and Yueqi Zhang of Hammond (Communication).
