Putt-Putting into Networking Gold

Golf clubs in hand and business cards at the ready, the Putt-Putt Palooza took place at Avalon Manor, hosted by the Leaders of Northwest Indiana.

Executive Director of LNI, Keith Kirkpatrick said, “This is a big networking event for people who are leaders in Northwest Indiana - people who have very key roles in this region. They’re trying to connect here and figure out how we make NWI a greater place.”

Multiple conversations were generated all over the banquet hall, allowing people to connect with one another in a comfortable, fun environment, without the stress of the office to obstruct genuine discussion.

“All I see tonight is people keep coming up and saying, ‘Oh my gosh, you wouldn’t believe the people I met here tonight,’” Keith continued,  “it’s just a really terrific opportunity.”

More than the connections and networking, Keith said, “I think what’s key, is that we need to find people who want to be in broader roles of leadership here, and have them expand their roles.”

Stating that the real purpose of these events is to grow leaders in the community, in order that they may continue to build NWI into a great hub of fun, prosperity and excitement.
