The Premier Grill has undergone some changes in recent months. There is new decor, a few new friendly faces taking your orders, and new ownership. The new owner is Fred Cicco, with Mike Atsas having to attend to pressing needs in Greece. Atsas was very well liked among his customers and will be missed. There are still some familiar faces though, one being Michael Koulianos, and he is helping to run the show.
The Premier Grill is proud to say they are still making the long-time favorite Hannon's Rootbeer. This old fashioned rootbeer is still homemade and can be purchased by the gallon, 1/2 gallon or can be enjoyed as a classic rootbeer float.
New to the menu is a pork burger called "Hog Heaven". For the bigger appetite there is the "Boss Hog" made with two patties. This pork burger is served with BBQ sauce and topped with co-slaw. There is also new $5.00 Monday & Tuesday lunches featuring things like 2 Pulled Pork Sliders or mini Gyros served with French Fries. Check out the appetizer of the day too!
As the new owner, Cicco is running a "Name The Restaurant" contest. If you submit a name, and yours is selected to be the winner, you will win too! The winner of the "Name The Restaurant" contest will win a FREE Pizza King pizza of their choice, 1 per week, for a year, yes for one year! That's 52 Pizza King pizzas! Pizza King is "an old college favorite" said Cicco.
Some of the clever names that have been submitted are "Carmen's Cafe" by Fred Cicco himself, Hannon's Grill after the delicious homemade, old-fashioned Hannon's Rootbeer by Colleen Zana and "The Breakfast Club" after some of the nicest, yet orneriest fellas that enjoy breakfast there every Saturday morning. Some other fun names by loyal patrons are "Knuckleheads", "Frosty Grill" and "The Corner Grill."
