The Valparaiso University women’s golf team was slated to open up the Charles Braun Jr. Intercollegiate on Monday at Oak Meadow Country Club in Evansville, Ind., but Mother Nature had other ideas.
The first day of the event was cancelled due to heavy rain and thunderstorms in the Evansville area on Monday. The new plan is to play one 18-hole round on Tuesday beginning at 10 a.m. to close out the fall season.
