RE/MAX Pace Realty Opens New Location in the Heart of Valpo

REMAX-PACE-1RE/MAX Pace Realty celebrated their new location on 57 South Michigan Street, in the heart of Valparaiso, with a special ribbon cutting ceremony today.

“We relocated our office to a much newer and modern facility and in the heart of a community that we serve, so this location worked out perfectly for us,” shared Roger Pace, Broker Owner of RE/MAX Pace Realty. “We are also raffling off a balloon ride in celebration! Our RE/MAX balloon will be taking off this evening after a drawing and two people here will share the experience of flying over our city of Valparaiso,” Pace went on to share with a smile.

The 1933 Essex Terraplane used in the 2009 film “Public Enemies”, starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, adorned the parking lot in front of the new office. Pace acquired the car from the Dillinger Museum in Crown Point in order for guests at tonight’s event to take their photo in front of it. Food and beverages were also served both inside and out as part of the evening’s festivities, and live acoustic music echoed throughout the street as the night’s entertainment.

REMAX-PACE-3“We used to be on the east side of town. We added to our office and just wanted to celebrate and let everyone know that we enjoy being here, especially surrounded by the Memorial Opera House and the historic museum. This is our way of thanking the community,” said Minakshi Ghuman, Broker Associate of RE/MAX. Ghuman is the longest serving associate at twenty-two years.

After the outdoor festivities, the staff and their families gathered inside for the big ribbon cutting moment. Applause rang throughout the foyer of the new office as a pair of giant scissors did the trick. Supporters from throughout Porter County watched with smiles.

REMAX-PACE-2“I am here as a chamber member to welcome this ribbon cutting ceremony and to congratulate RE/MAX on their move to the new place,” stated Rob Brenda of SERVPRO who was in attendance. “This is also a chance to meet some other realtors. This is a celebratory event plus a chance to mingle. You look around here and there’s a lot of participation at this event so it’s very good for the community.”

Congratulations to RE/MAX on this new beginning and positive company milestone!
