Rebuilding Together is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeowners remain in their homes in warmth and safety. Since 1990 in Valparaiso, this group has worked on 20-30 homes each spring, assisting with smaller projects including yard work, window washing and organization to large projects such as furnace replacement and roofing.
Currently Rebuilding Together Valparaiso is accepting applications for workday April 12, 2014. Applicants must own their own homes and meet certain income requirements. Emphasis is on helping the elderly, low income families and families with children, veterans and their families.
Applications may be picked up at Valparaiso City Hall (166 Lincolnway), local churches, Banta Center, Valpo Water Dept., First Contact, Hilltop Neighborhood House, or leave name and address at 548-4827 and an application will be sent to you.
