The Region Rat Rollers (RRR) will be hosting their 2nd public inter-league Bout 'Slam into Spring!' against Bloomington Indiana's Bleeding Heartland Poison Ivy's. The bout will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at The Jean Shepherd Center, 2021 J.F. Mahoney Drive, Hammond IN. The doors open at 5:00p.m., with the bout starting at 6:00p.m. Tickets are available at the door. Adults $12.00, Kids ages 6-12 $10.00, and Kids 5 and under are free. Bring in a nonperishable food item and get $1 per item off your ticket price up to $5. Parking is free and located in front and back of the center.
This is a family friendly event, with a free kids crafting corner sponsored by the non-for profit group The Ripple Effect. There will be food concessions and local draft beer provided by Crown Brewing. Halftime entertainment provided by Studio Venus Pole Fitness for a family and kid friendly performance that you won't want to miss.
So come on out and eat some food, drink some beer, listen to some great music and watch some exciting roller derby!
