Started in 2004, the Big Boca was a neighborhood run taking place through the streets Boca Lago, Boca Raton, and Boca Teeka, and also ran through 200 East Park. In its second year, the Big Boca expanded and included T-shirts and more than 20 participants. Now, in its 6th year, the Big Boca is proud to support the Food Pantry at Spring Valley Homeless Shelter.
Proceeds of the race have been donated to the Shelter in each of the past 3 years. The money donated helps to provide groceries and supplies for the residents of the shelter, including diapers, canned foods, and even brooms. Last year, we were able to donate over $200 to the cause.
