Online registration is still available for the 5th annual Kent's Run 5K sponsored by Walgreens. Come celebrate the life of former Boone Grove High School student-athlete Kent Ribordy. Kent passed away from leukemia in 2007.
The event will be held on Saturday, May 26th, at 8 a.m. The start and finish line is located at Boone Grove Middle School, 325 West 550 South, Boone Grove, Indiana 46302. Plenty of free parking is available.
Online registration ($25) closes next Wednesday, May 23rd. The race day entry fee increases to $30, and you are not guaranteed a race t-shirt. Race day registration begins at 7 am in the Boone Grove Middle School gymnasium.
Walkers welcome. Medals to all finishers. Chip timing. Live music and aid station on the race course. Awards for the top three finishers in all age groups. Free pancake breakfast afterwards for all participants. Cool tech race t-shirt to all pre-registered runners.
All proceeds benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. To date, Kent's Run has raised over $116,000 for this charity.
