Youth ages 6-18 interested in learning the fundamentals of basketball can register today for “Walker’s World” basketball camp at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-South Haven Club. “Walker’s World” camp will take place July 30, 2012 through August 2, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the South Haven Club. Led by Westville High School basketball coach Rob Walker, youth will receive instruction on technique such as shooting, passing and defense, and ball handling. Westville High School varsity staff and players will facilitate daily 5 on 5 games, drills and more. Participants can win prizes and enjoy a pizza/ice-cream party at the conclusion of the camp.
The cost is $5.00 per participant. Register in-person at Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-South Haven Club located at 723 Long Run Road, Valparaiso, IN 46383 Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 5:20 p.m. Registration ends July 27, 2012.
