VISITING ARTIST WORKSHOP
Renowned artist, Jeff Hirst, will be visiting Michigan City for two-days to offer Encaustic Collagraph. Participants will learn to paint with encaustic (wax) medium onto acrylic plates. The plates are manipulated through additive and subtractive processes, then inked with a non-toxic ink and printed onto paper by running through an etching press. This is a great workshop for beginners!
