Registration is now open at Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County Kidstop sites for Summer KidsCamp. Parents looking for a fun and exciting summer programs for their children can register today!
KidsCamp is a fun childcare alternative, supervised by trained staff where children are given the opportunity to participate in computer lab, learning and educational activities, games room recreational activities, health & fitness, team sports, gym games, fun & cooperative games both indoors & outdoors, arts & crafts, group activities, special events, environmental education, field trips, guest speakers, trips to local parks, and community service projects. Programs are open to all children in the community enrolled in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
KidsCamp is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM at the Valparaiso, South Haven and Portage Boys & Girls Clubs. Valparaiso KidsCamp begins June 8, 2012 and runs through August 20, 2012. South Haven and Portage KidsCamps run from June 6, 2012 through August 17, 2012. Fees are based on usage with morning, afternoon, all day and full week options available. Financial assistance is also available to those who qualify.

- South Haven Boys & Girls Club, 723 Long Run Road--May 24 from 5:00-7:00 pm, or during regular Kidstop hours from 6:30 am until 8:30 am, Monday - Friday
- Portage Boys & Girls Club, 5895 Evergreen Avenue--May 10 and May 31 and from 5:00- 7:00pm.
- Valparaiso Boys & Girls Club, 354 Jefferson Street—Registration now open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm or at any Kidstop School site during normal Kidstop hours from before or after school.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County has been serving youth for 40 years. The Clubs provide programs for nearly 5,000 boys and girls in the areas of character and leadership development, educational enhancement, career preparation, health and life skills, the arts and sports, fitness and recreation.
The Boys & Girls Clubs offers affordable $25.00 annual membership ($20 at the Duneland Club) with Club sites located in Valparaiso, South Haven, Duneland and Portage.
