We're hiring a Server!

As a Server, you provide care for our residences with friendly, positive co-workers adjacent Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve.

Our staff work in our culture of teamwork and respect – with some laughter throughout the day! We work together towards our goal of exceptional resident care.

The Server is responsible for taking the food/drink orders and serving the guests (residents, guests, staff) while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean environment.

I. Server Activities

  1. Serving Guests 60% of Time

A. Greet guests in a friendly, professional and timely manner

B. Strive to exceed our guests’ expectations.

C. Notify guests of any specials or soup of the day, if applicable.

D. Take food/drink orders accurately and timely.

E. Maintain current knowledge about dietary restrictions of residents.

F. Serve food/drinks according to restaurant etiquette guidelines.

G. Prepare side salads.

H. Prepare light meals for Bistro guests.

I. Follow-up with guests for satisfaction of food/drinks. Resolve customer dissatisfaction.

J. Performs other duties as needed or as assigned.

  1. Other Restaurant Activities 40% of Time

A. Clear and reset tables according to restaurant etiquette guidelines.

B. Vacuum, dust, mop, and clean all areas in the restaurant, culinary kitchen, and Bistro to ensure total cleanliness. Assist in the cleanliness of the kitchen.

C. Maintain side-work, such as polishing silverware, folding napkins, filling condiments, etc.

D. Assist culinary staff with food preparation as requested.

E. Report to work in a neat and clean uniform and adheres to dress code policy.

F. Update knowledge and skills through in-services and continuing education per agency requirements.

G. Frequently washes hands and maintains sanitary environment.

H. Accurately handle monetary transactions utilizing the cash register and balance accurately at the end of each shift.
