Rittenhouse Senior Living of Valparaiso is looking for volunteers to help our residents with a variety of things. What gift or talent do YOU see yourself sharing with our residents?
Suggested Volunteer opportunities:
- Help plant small individual gardens and maintain house plants.
- Read to residents that have vision problems, help with writing letters, or give an hour of your time to chat with a resident.
- Conduct group games such as BINGO, card and board games, Wii.
- Help with outside walks and special events.
Volunteers play an important role in the well being of the resident’s life. Making friends even at age 90 is important. Call Rittenhouse at 219.531.2484 and speak with Sylvia Stockman, Activity Director.
