Rittenhouse Senior Living of Valparaiso Briefs, September 10, 2014

fillerWHAT'S NEW?
September is an exciting month for Rittenhouse Senior Living of Valparaiso. We are happy to announce that we will now have a licensed Barber on site to give haircuts to our residents in addition to our on staff Beauticians. There is something nostalgic about going to a barber and we feel it is important to embrace those moments and offer these services regularly to our residents here in Valparaiso.

Hero's Lunch - September 10th - Rittenhouse of Valparaiso is taking lunch on the road! Our staff is preparing boxed lunches for local emergency and medical workers and delivering them as a thank you for all the hard word and dedication they have to our residents and community. Recipients include Valparaiso fire department, police department and the Porter County Sheriffs' department. We salute these workers and admire all the work they do on a daily basis.

Rittenhouse Cookbook - Yes, you heard right! Rittenhouse of Valparaiso is putting together our own cookbook featuring recipes from our residents and staff. Keep your eyes open for when they go on sale in November!

Baked Potato Bash - September 19th - Mark your calendars! We are hosting a Baked Potato Bar on Friday the 19th. Stop by and grab a hot baked potato with all the fixings. Cost is $4 - all proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association. *Employees eat free in honor of employee appreciation week.
